About Us

A Monthly Circle for LGBTQIA+ Educators, Creators, and Facilitators Holding Learning Spaces

Queer Pollinators is a virtual community for LGBTQIA+ people who design, lead, or support educational experiences about LGBTQIA+ people and communities.

Whether you’re an aspiring facilitator, practicing consultant, seasoned educator, or simply exploring what this work could look like for you, you belong here.

We gather monthly to share ideas, navigate challenges, and uplift one another in the practice of LGBTQIA+ education.

Our members hold learning spaces in many ways, through workshops, panels, classrooms, online content, peer-led programs, and more. This space exists to support the people doing this work at every stage.

How We Build

At Queer Pollinators, we’re not just building community, we’re building culture, care, and connection. These guiding principles shape how we gather, create, and grow together. They reflect what we value, how we show up, and the future we’re cultivating through LGBTQIA+ education.

  • Collaboration over Competition: We support and uplift each other, recognizing that shared success strengthens us all.

  • Connection Grows Organically: We contribute to the community’s natural evolution, allowing relationships and initiatives to develop authentically.

  • Mentorship in All Directions: Everyone learns and teaches. We embrace learning from others and sharing our knowledge to foster mutual growth.

  • Justice-Oriented: We stand for equity and fairness, advocating for a community that challenges injustice and empowers all.

  • Strength in Community: We build meaningful connections, knowing that pollinators’ collective strength is greater than individual efforts.

  • Shared Ownership & Responsibility: We are accountable for our role in the community and contribute to its well-being and sustainability.
